Every Monday is a new opportunity to start again.
No, I haven’t always been such an optimist. But building my own business has seen me overcome hurdles, and its this repetitive learning which leads to good habits. In my last post I talked about ways to stay organised, and today I want to highlight the small processes we can implement every day to ensure we create a great headspace to tackle the hurdles.
Now more than ever, setting yourself up for success is paramount. Whether that’s with the kids going back to school after such a long time, job hunting, or pushing your small business forward. So let’s make a start and get ahead of the game –
Create a Morning Ritual
One of the most effective ways to set yourself up for success is to create a daily wake up ritual. Create a mini plan of activities that make you feel grounded and balanced, so you can move forward into your day from a place of calm. Whether it’s five minutes or an hour!
Make Your First Meal a Nutritious One
Personally I don’t like to eat first thing in the morning. But I always strive to make sure the first thing I eat each day is something fresh and nurtitious. Slow energy releasing food such as bananas are a great way to maintain yourself through the day.
Tackle the Most Important or Challenging Task First
If you aim to get this “put off until the last minute” task done and dusted first thing, you can carry on your day feeling a little more relaxed knowing it’s done.
Work Hard Play Harder!
As much as it’s important to strive for success, what would life be without a good laugh? Make it a priority to have some fun – catching up with friends, spending time outdoors, or doing something you love like crafting or playing a video game.
I hope you find these simple steps to be useful. They are so easy to implement into every day, and can pay off in the long run.
